The Penn Battle III DX Spinning Reels take the new and improved Battle III Spinning Reel and adds key upgrades to make the DX an even more refined and powerful inshore reel for anglers to tackle their next adventure on the water. The DX series utilizes a brass main gear in all models as well as an improved HT-100 Carbon Fiber Drag system with an additional bearing underneath the spool. A lightweight EVA foam knob provides for extra comfort with the 2500 size featuring an I-shaped knob and all other models featuring ball-shaped knobs.
