Terez is the first Shimano rod series specifically designed and built to fish Power Pro or braided line over. Designed longer and with a slower taper, this creates power and shock cushioning for braided line usage. This actually enhances the performance of the rod when on a fish. Utilising Shimano’s exclusive TC4 technology (based on a four ply graphite weave), Terez rods are arguably the lightest and most powerful rods ever built. Using EVA grips and custom Shimano aluminium reel seats, matched with Fuji K guides and Alconite rings, this is a rod series built to perfection. With both spinning and overhead models available, these rods have stunning metallic silver cosmetics that are offset by the pearl white blanks. During testing, our product team and network of tackle testers have fished a host of Australian and international locations, chalking up species like yellowfin tuna, marlin, kingfish, sailfish, amberjack and Spanish mackerel to name just a few.
