The Stradic SW 8000PG is part of a range that takes the Stradic family of reels to the next level. Purpose built for saltwater fishing, the Stradic SW is extremely versatile and can be used for Rock & Surf, heavier duty Shore Game Spinning, as well as Offshore for light Jigging, Spinning, or even Popping. The Stradic SW 8000 also features some of the top reel technologies found in Shimanos top end reels. Drawing upon the Stella SWC, both Infinity Drive and Silent Drive are included which provides improved pinion gear support and less wobble inside the reel translating to more powerful, and smoother, cranking. Improving upon the older Stradic series, the SW series incorporates all the same water resistance technologies, but also includes X-Shield, an internal structure that helps keep water out and protects the internal gears with an IPX8 sealed rating.
